About the project

In the summer of 2008 I set myself a personal project - to ask my colleagues in the design studio where I worked whether they would like a cup of tea in a different way each day I was in the studio. As I worked part-time this amounted to three times a week, the question was posed once during a working day. It was a slightly tongue in cheek exercise in impermanent and spontaneous design. The project ran for approximately six months and continues in a reduced form to this day, find out more in the Philosophy section. You’ll find a list of all the different ways the questions have been asked on the ‘A complete list of forms the question have taken’ page.

This website marks the end of the impermanent design aspect of the project and was setup primarily to get better acquainted with Wordpress.org and it’s associated technologies.

I’m a web designer based in the UK, people often call me David Gillett. Links to other personal sites can be found in the Blogroll.
